    Hello, the joint that you see from the elbow into the pump is leaking where you see the glue. Trying to think of ways to get the old pvc out of the pump and elbow to replace. any suggestions on how to tackle this?     thanks for the replies..my water level seems to drop fast so a bucket test confirmed my leak suspicion. I also have some horizontal cracks , missing tiles on the bond beam so I am wondering if it is leaking through there. So far I can't get any dye to be sucked into a return..

    Type of concrete behind the tiles

    hi - I got some falling tiles at the top of the tile line and behind them are large missing pieces of concrete that the tile would ideally stick onto.     Black Algae - Drain Pool?

    Booster Pump Impeller will not come off

    I have a PB4-60 Polaris Booster Motor....I am replacing the motor but I cannot get the impeller to back off when I hold the motor shaft at the rear of the motor. I don't understand why if won't thread off - it wasn't installed tightly. I put a lot of force on it and it won't budge...confused

    Yes - the switch on the back of the motor arrived in the 240V position so I moved it to 120V since I am in the USA...I bought a 2nd motor and I am having the exact same issue with it too.

    This is a new motor that I just replaced (booster pump)...I can see the shaft spinning for those 5 seconds but then it cuts off on its own...Motor feels hot to the touch....the Motor clicks after about a minute and then it will let me turn it back on...but it shuts down after 5 seconds again...
