So this happened...Intex cement footer support.

Sorry, I misread your question. If you've only got a few inches in, you should be able to wiggle the legs some. Personally, I'd just go ahead and fill it. If nothing else, it'll give a chance to see how the legs are going to behave as you fill. Then if you have problem and end up draining...

So this happened...Intex cement footer support.

It comes down quite easily. The trickiest part is draining the last little bit of water. It takes a while to drain, and you want it dry before you fold it. As long as the weather behaves, the whole process takes a couple days, but my husband frequently does it on his own. Last year though...

Add salt water system to my above ground 24'round pool? Pros and cons

I love my saltwater chlorine generator. It's so easy!

So this happened...Intex cement footer support.

For what it's worth, we've put our Intex up almost every season for 7 or 8 years now, and we've never put pavers under the legs. We've never had an issue with sinking. Every year I want to do it the "right" way, and every year my husband just wants to get it done quickly.

What to do with the original Intex pump/filter?

I know you said you didn't want it just sitting around, but that's what we did. I figure having something on standby in case of a problem was way better than being stuck without filtration for a couple days.

Sun deck option for above ground pool?

There was a thread a few weeks ago where they used plastic shelves in the pool to create a spot for little kids. It seemed like a great idea.

Just put up our first pool!

Looks great! My husband and I have been talking about doing the same thing but we have very little experience with concrete. Right now, we set it up and take it down each year, but it's a HUGE pain in the tush to prep the site each year.

    Cover or drain?

A couple of weeks ago, I suddenly became ill and was hospitalized. My husband did great caring for the kids and the pets, but the poor pool has been seriously neglected. I'm home now, but not back to full steam, and we're supposedly looking at about 2 weeks of cool weather. I'm hoping for a...

    Intex Threaded Strainer Connector

We did this as well. We use the regular intex skimmer, and I got tired of trying to clean it out every couple of weeks. It definitely helps a lot.

Blonde hair and Intex SWG with Copper

For what it's worth, we've used our Intex SWG for 4 or 5 years now, and have never had an issue with anything or anyone turning green. I don't know if it makes any difference, but we always take it down at the end of the season, so the water is never more than 3-4 months old in it. Maybe if we...

    Posts not vertical

Our pool has the sleeve for the legs and a rope at the bottom. The pool was purchased this year, but I think it was actually manufactured last year. The white strap that goes around the pool is situated about a foot higher than the pool in this thread.

    Census Poll on Intex Users

We're upgrading this year to a slightly bigger pool and sand filter. We had a 16x48 blue and white Intex for 5 (I think?) years and used the salt water generator the whole time. I love that thing! I'm so excited to set up the new pool, but am a bit nervous about the new sand filter. I've...
