Mike, That's what the plans called for. The deck is less then 4 feet off the ground so bigger was not nessary. Atleast that's what I was told. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

I found that netting by the chicken wire fence at the hardware store. I liked it because it was plastic. I will see if I have a name when I get back on Wed. Think it was from Menards. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

We have about 3-4 foot access under the deck. You can frame the pool with decking and then you can remove those pieces if you need to. We almost did but I figure I will just remove a few deck boards if needed. Our deck goes up to the cap so we would just need access to the post caps to remove...

Attempting to setup Pump on new AGP this evening- please HELP!

Check pool math but with mine I just dumped a gallon of bleach in while I was setting up and just checked every few days. If you put unions on the end of those pipes you can always redo the pipes later even if you don't have all the valves. They also make connectors to go from flex to PVC. That...

Attempting to setup Pump on new AGP this evening- please HELP!

Do you have all of the parts that came with the pump, filter and SWG? I am not an expert but the SWG might be undersized for your pool. They recommend to do 50% the size of the pool. You would have to have an expert chime in on this. You can still do all the piping and just cut that in later...

Thanks Kim! Its hard to work out there now and not want to jump in my crystal clear TFP water! I am hoping to get the electric done tonight so I will post some pictures. I am going to have barn lights on each post and these LED flood lights I found. You can use a remote and make them any color...

Railing is almost done! I am not going to know what to do with all my time when this deck is done... Just a few more days and we will have most of the project done, then I will get to enjoy the pool on the weekends (and I am sure I will find more projects...). Just need to finish the top rail...

Kim, The maintenance is the only hold back... I know it will look good for a year and then it will be the decision on the weekends to go swimming in the pool or landscaping... I guess atleast I don't have a whole lot of grass to mow now... Decisions.... Decisions... I like the PVC lattice idea...

Kim, We are all over the board on what to do under the deck. I am going to have a 2' mulch bed with flowers and bushes around the pool. We are toying with the idea of just planting boxwood bushes along the line of the deck and over time just making a nice hedge. I like how lattice looks but it...

Very High Total Alkalinity 300ppm from City Water. How can I get it down? Please help

Dank5190, I am floating in that same boat... My tap water was 300ppm. I have done the acid drop 3 times now and have the pool down around 200-220. Going to have to buy more R-0009 using all these drops but atleast I am moving the right direction! I am going to switch to MA from the Dry Acid i...

Kim, I lowered my Ph this morning again to 7.2 and the TA only came down 20 points to 200. I read that it will take awhile, does that sound about right? Going to switch to MA next round because Dry Acid will be expensive that many rounds. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

    Continued GFCI Troubles

I took a look at your build and wow! Your setup looks amazing. What I would do is get a replacement and put it in a spot that you know was good and move another breaker to the suspect position. Sounds like you might just have received a bad breaker and they should replace it. Also make sure when...

    Continued GFCI Troubles

Jay, Do you have a meter that can show the load? Also can you post pictures of the name plates that are on each motor? There will be a silver sticker on each pump that gives the electrical requirements. You can get a bad breaker but after the second time it trips you need to check the motor and...
