    Missing Thread?

I just found it and came to tell you and say never mind. Yes, thanks! Is there an app that we can use to make navigation on a phone easier?

Thanks! I never got notified about this reply. I need to figure our the best way to use the site now. I still can’t find my thread though. Is the link still broken?

    Missing Thread?

Hi everyone! It’s been awhile! I tell everyone about Trouble Free Pool and we use the app almost daily. A friend that is starting their research asked about our pool build and I tried to share the link to our very long thread, but it doesn’t work anymore. I also couldn’t find it by searching...

Is it CREEPY to have a security camera pointed at the pool area?

I have teenagers and I've had parents that don't have a pool thank me for having cameras to keep an eye on things. I think most people understand the value of playback if something happens as well as the ability to keep tabs on what teenagers are capable of getting up to if you're not outside...

    Spa level at pool level

I texted... no response. It's late so I imagine I won't hear back until tomorrow. Anything I should do or check while I wait? Is there anything I shouldn't do that could mess something up? We've been losing chlorine lately and our water bill has been high so I worried about a leak but we...

    Spa level at pool level

We have Pentair... there is something that looks a little like that labeled "spa" that is square. Could that be it? The pool is barely a year old and under warranty. Is this something I call the PB to fix?

Yes. That would be a lot scarier otherwise. Lol

    Spa level at pool level

Came outside to find our 24" raised spa at pool level. Any ideas what can cause this?

    Water overflow problem?!

So they had a grate on the terminus instead of a pop-up and a bunch of debris and leaves had built up underneath and caused a block. They put a pop-up in and cleaned it out but should that be secured in some way? It comes out with a slight pull from one finger... I feel like a little water...

How do you throw a hose on the drain? What is the terminus?

    Water overflow problem?!

Our pool is nearly a year old but we haven't had much rain since we got it. A few days ago there was a lot of rain for a few hours and the pool water got up to the coping while we weren't home. I expressed concern to my PB but she said it was fine and that it backs up a little with the deck...

Switching Pool/Spa Off using iOS ScreenLogic App

I have an old iPhone 4 with a waterproof case on it. We use that as our poolside remote and bonus - it's an underwater camera. The kids and teenagers take a ton of pictures on it and it always cracks me up to go through them later. In addition, they don't know the password so they can't...

New build starting soon. Its happening. Last minute option thoughts?

I agree with Suz and you Yankee on the deep end as far as a drowning concern. The entire pool, shelf included is a drowning hazard so that wouldn't impact my decision. The distance to the house and ease and convenience to access would though. Also, I'm OCD so I like our depths in order. Ha...

Azalea is out. Our spot gets too much sun. I like the Rozanne Geranium but it says zones 5-8 and we're in 9. The blue liriope might be nice to around our trees at a later date! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Landscaping

Such great things to look into! I probably need to avoid anything that I need to watch for seeding. We're not very structured and knowing us we'd totally miss the window and end up with the Magnus (?) thing choking the other plants. Lol Jim, do you have pictures of your landscaping that...

New build starting soon. Its happening. Last minute option thoughts?

My shelf depth is 9" and it's nice for us. A foot of water will be a really nice depth. We might have gone slightly deeper except that we have bubblers. I personally don't care for the shelf on the opposite side of the pool or in the deep end. I like it to be really close to the entrance...

Yippee, you were right! They're impatiens. I'm trying to see if they can still give us the begonias we actually ordered. Thanks Jim! Some great ideas for me to look into there! And I love the look of the echinacea (which has the added herbal benefits and I can harvest for tea!) Do the...

Thanks Yippee! We bought the begonias from a fundraiser. They're supposed to be Olympic mix begonias but they were selling impatiens too. How would I be able to know the difference? The tray of them without flowers yet right? I'll look at the Black Eyed Susans. I was just thinking that...

Hmmm.. I think I really like the Lemon Lime Nandina. Those Daylilies are gorgeous and they have some varieties at the nursery I'll have to look at. I also like the look of Hosta. Should I look at drift roses too or just knock-out? It's a pretty large space. Any design ideas for people on...
