Lost a bag of salt

H,

But when you are carrying that 40 lbs. as part of your body, you don't seem to notice it like when you have to pick up a bag of salt..

Great job losing the weight, and keep it up.. :goodjob:

I need to do the same thing... :(

I once knew a person who lost an average of 1 pound per week, but they lost track of time and they eventually disappeared.

The last time I saw them, they weighed only 1 pound.

My point is, at some point you reach an inflection point where losing weight goes from being a good thing to being a bad thing, so you need to know when to stop losing weight and switch to maintaining weight.

I started at 280 lbs. I'm at 236.6 lbs this afternoon. I was stuck at 242 lbs for about 4 months. What's helped is that I've planted about 30 shrubs in the last week. Also moved about 12 shrubs. Soon I'll be getting 20 yards of mulch to finish my landscaping project. My goal is 200 lbs which is a good weight for my height (6'3").

She is going in on a Monday to retire? LOVE IT! Best Monday work day ever!

Well done on her weigh loss as well! I need to get back on my bike. Tell her she has inspired me!

Yes - April Fool's Day. Joke is on them when she isn't there on Tuesday.

So did she REALLY plan it that way??? I think I love her and have not met her lol

Yes, it was planned that way. Her company pays out the 2023 bonuses in March. She stayed to get it before retiring.

You may have like what her staff did on Halloween. They dressed up a skeleton in the type of clothes she wears to work and put it in her office chair.

Hey good job! I found myself approaching 280 last summer. I lost a bit then, but didn't keep up with it. I decided to take it more seriously this spring and I'm down to about 240 now. Still got more to go, but it's nice to see results!

Good job! Let's see who loses the next 40 lbs the fastest.
