I've tried that too but it didn't help much at all, if any. I think the issue is that it's so humid where I live that the dewpoint is higher at night, so I'm not seeing the drop that you would think

I installed a Glacier. I've dialed it in and it runs 3 am to 8 pm. Dropped the pool from 92 ish to 87ish. But it's very hot and humid where I live, temps in the mid 90's and heat index hovering around 110. Brutal

I appreciate the input. I'm a bit confused about it because we have a pool cover that floats on the pool that we have used to heat the pool up in winter, works pretty well. I'm struggling to see how these, that also float on the water, cool the pool down

Wow, bleach has gotten expensive! Paid $5.47 a gallon at Walmart today for 10%. Luckily it was fresh, date code about a month ago

I did see that ACE hardware carries it, but it's only 10% and it's $8.59 a gallon! Walmart bleach is 7.5% and is only 121 oz. and it's $5.65 a container. It's weak, just have to buy a lot of it. Leslies has been out of the 12% for the last 2 weeks here, right as pool season is heating up. So...

I think perhaps you are overthinking it. I run my SWG during a SLAM to maintain my FC levels above Shock level. Why have to add bleach every day, isn't that what you bought the SWG for in the first place?
