Yeah, I thought about that too. Maybe the FC drops low enough towards the beginning of the evening before the filter (and chlorinator) have a chance to pump up the FC allowing some algae growth. I'll bump it up and drain pool next week slightly (2-3 inches and refill) to see if that'll balance...

I will of course continue to monitor and if I feel that Im losing more than I should, Im repeating the bucket test and might have to drop the 500-700 for a diver. No one in my area seems to want to dive into a pool, ever and upcharges me when I request a dive.
