Yeah, that’s what I thought too! I was thinking of just dumping one of the bottles in the trash can and fill it up with water. But all the directions I read said to spray it on the filter. I have two bottles, so I’d like to use them.

So I could probably just use these two bottles with a spray bottle and then go back to just spraying. I sprayed with just water last summer and they seemed pretty clean.

Since I have StripQwik, how much water do I use if using a large trash can?

What is common to soak a large filter to clean it? 5 gallon bucket is way too small. Is a cheap trash can good? I have Strip Kwik and am thinking if I fill a trash can of water, it may be difficult to move it when I need to dump the water and strip kwik. Suggestions?

My pool is 16x36, approximately 18,500 gallons. I’m looking at a Pentair heat pump. The two sizes I’m between are the 125k and 143k. The price difference is $1,000. Is it worth the price to go to the 143 or go with the 125? Thanks.

I don’t let it over flow; if it was close to overflowing I’d definitely drain some of the water. But every time it gets above the skimmer line, it’s not really needed to drain, is it?

How often is too much to drain water after a rain storm? I’m trying not to waste my chemicals or get my chemicals out of balance, but we keep getting rain and my water level keeps going above the skimmer. My initial hope is to just allow the water to evaporate, but it’s raining more than...

I can’t read the chlorine test so I use the drop test. I’m getting better at reading the Ph test and it matches up well with my local pool store.

I bought the TF-Pro and later added the salt test from Taylor.

I don’t turn my SWG until I have the proper amount of salt in my pool. I add chlorine as needed until my salt levels are correct and then I turn on the SWG.

I have the intellichor ic40 (18,500 gallon pool). Appreciate your knowledge as that makes sense on the SWG maintaining, but if I need a higher dose before a party (immediately) LC would be best.

Appreciate it! Right now I am running it mainly 24/7 just to mix the chemicals since I recently opened and am trying to get everything balanced and learn the SWG process. Last year, I would run it around 12 hours or so.
