I have an inground pool. I want to remove a portion of the liner to insert a hose behind the liner to remove ground water. There are tons of videos on how to put a liner back in place but nothing on how to remove a portion of the liner. Any feedback would be great.

The depth is 43 inches. I can see water but the hose will not go past the 43 inches depth.

Okay, so I checked today in better light. I do see water in the hole about 6 feet down, the same depth as the deep end. However, the other day I tried using a transfer pump with a garden hose and it did not pull anything.
