Cutting foam base for Intex 15’ round metal frame with pavers under legs

I'm thinking of doing the same. Please post pictures if you can. Thanks.

Freshly Installed Liner - lots of wrinkles. Suggestions?

Looks like my pool. I spent so much time leveling it and prepping the ground, and then as I started filling it my helpers weren't very helpful, and I just didn't notice how bad it was until it was almost full. I thought about draining it and probably should have, but didn't. I thought I'd leave...

    Help with patching under water!

I'll second/third/fourth what everyone else has said. In the 7 seasons I've had my Intex pool I've had to patch it twice, and both are still holding so I guess I did something right. I used this kit purchased on Amazon. The brand really doesn't matter. Just make sure it is for underwater use...

    How bad is this brace?

I'm not an engineer, but I would think that cutting it open would destroy any structural integrity it had. Yes it's dented, but couldn't you just use it "as is". Set them on 4" thick pavers?

Intex Easy Set Pool- shaky legs

Yes. The pool will flex and sway a bit if the kids are active. The legs should find their spot and not move.

looking for bungee solution for pool cover to be used daily

I recommend a solar cover. They don't heat the pool as much as they help keep the heat in at night and on cloudy or windy days when you're not using the pool. If you want the water to warm up, remove the cover and expose it to the sun. I also have trees near my pool and at times I get a zillion...

    Not sure about this

That will be money well spent. I had a guy level my pool site after I fooled around with it for a while and finally gave up. My ground is filled with rocks and roots, and it's a heavy clay soil. The machine made short work of it. What he did in a day would have taken me weekends of back breaking...

Green Intex Pool and Pool Store Directions

Stay out of the pool store! Order the TF-100 test kit, and except for stabilizer (aka CYA or Cyanuric Acid), which you add once when you fill the pool and then only as needed if you add water, the only chemicals you need you can buy at the grocery store - bleach, Borax, and baking soda.

    walmart liquid Chlorine gone?

I got some this weekend. They had plenty on the shelves. Make sure to check the manufacture date code. They obviously don't rotate their stock, because they had some year old jugs on the back of the shelf, but the newer ones were in front.

    Vacuum for Intex

I upgraded my filter to an Intex sand filter and replaced the Intex over the wall skimmer with a Hayward skimmer which includes an attachment for a vacuum. I bought a 20' length of hose from the pool store, and a vacuum head and a pole. It works great. Vacuuming is strictly manual but it's a...

Patching Holes - Gorilla Tape or Boxer Vinyl Glue?

I bought the Boxer repair kit back in 2015 to repair a leak. I used it one other time a couple years later. Both are still holding.
