Patching Holes - Gorilla Tape or Boxer Vinyl Glue?

Hi everyone,
Newbie here, lots of great info in this forum, thanks!

I just got a brand new Intex Metal Frame 10’ x 30”, and it has 3 small holes/tears on the floor (from a pin hole to a tear of ¼”).
The pool is not in stock, so I can’t get a replacement at the store.
I’m thinking about repairing these and found two options: “Gorilla Waterproof Patch and Seal Tape” or one of the Boxer kits which comes with the glue and vinyl patches.

1) Which one would you recommend?
I’d prefer the Gorilla tape, easier to use and I can get it right away from Lowe’s/Home Depot (instead of waiting 1 week for the Boxer kit to arrive – local Pool Store is sold out).

2) How big should the patch be?

3) Do these things hold or is the pool destined to fail in 1-2 years?

Also, I was going to apply a patch on each side, just to make it stronger.

Thanks in advance!

BTW, thanks to whoever put the ‘Pool School’ eBook together, very useful.

You should be able to find Boxer or another good quality patch kit at the local pool store in your area (surely there is more than 1). I read some reviews on the Gorilla tape and they were mixed as to how well it works under water. Also chlorine is know to dissolve some adhesives so I don't know if it would hold.
