A belated update ... I contacted Pentair via the form on their site and after a week ... no response. I called ready for a battle and after explaining the issue and them seeing it was under warranty, they easily agreed to send out a tech to replace. Excellent.

Although the system is reading water temp of 60, the cell is still in cold water mode, not producing Cl. A separate thermometer reads 57. The cell is new as of Oct this year. Is it the temp sensor?

Thanks for the quick response. One thing I left out is that over a few days I went from 4ppm Cl to 0 running at 50%. The cell was new as of 3/18, so I will report it. This is the 5th cell in a 10 year old pool.

Up to a few days ago, all was running well. Now while the "Good" Salt light on the Pentair IC40 is green and NO Errors, the control panel shows 0 ppm for salt. Not producing Cl. :(The PS (I know, I know) gave a reading of 3500 ppm and the TDS meter showed 2800 ppm. Any ideas? Strange that the...

I’ve recently had water levels in the spa dropping over night and then not refilling when the pool starts. I have replaced the back flow valve. When I speed up the pump I will get a huge amount of air out of the spa valves. Any thoughts?

I'm using a Easy Touch 8 control panel (8 yrs old) with the standard 500W white lights (which have failed). Generally what is involved in upgrading to LEDs? Other than the bulbs, any new equipment? Should I stay with Pentair? Thanks

I had pool repair guy check the pump. His verdict is that the pump is pulling 270 V. Thinks it's either a defective pump or something upstream. Any thoughts ?

There is a GFCI on the control panel. Not tripped and all other equipment working. The question is how a pump that worked with the wiring the photo is replaced with the same equipment, wired the same and doesn't work.

I'm replacing a Pentair LA01N booster pump with the same model. Pump on a 220 breaker. I've wired it just the same as the old pump. See pic of original wiring.
