    They just said it’s old and it could fail. Looks like I can replace the bone from what you show to extend some life. It not stripped now and tightens fine.

    Hi I did a visual inspection inside. Besides looking old I didn’t see any cracks and the housing is not leaking. Couple of pics. I was able to read the serial number and it was manufactured 07/11/2012. Pool company just said it was old and they can go without warning , draining the pool...

    I don’t see any cracks. It’s leaking a bit from the bottom drain plug,but that is probably a seal that needs to be replaced.

    Pool company says I’m living on borrowed time. Do these things really just bust? Almost 1K to replace. If I do need to replace, any recommendations that don’t cost an arm and a leg? Thanks Chris
