If you have a main drain be wary of any cleaner without the third middle brush. Drain hangups are a show stopper. Cord swivel is nice as well. These features cost more but are worth the money imho.

Higher end Dolphin models used to include a cord swivel, centre brush and programmability (maybe they still do.) My M4 has all three. I wouldn't give up the swivel or the centre brush as these are very important features. Cord tangling is annoying and persistent drain hangups can completely...

Very informative thread. I replaced the climbing rings on my M4 last year as they were obviously worn out. Same symptoms as you had - wouldn't climb the vertical walls and was sliding and skidding on the sloped portions of the pool. Didn't think to replace the tracks but will check this out...
