Could I use an Aquabot Rover or even Junior in my unground pool?

Gotcha. Mo pool goes from 3' to 4.5' (in the middle), at 1 ft/7 ft drop. I doubt it would matter, but I'll see if the cost for the non-junior is reasonable. I'm pretty sure it would handle it, but that's definitely a reason to spend a few bucks. Thanks @zea3!

Could I use an Aquabot Rover or even Junior in my unground pool?

I have a smallish pool, 11000 gallons including spa, about 10000 on main pool. Just installed a SWCG and would like to simplify leaf removal. When we installed our pool the main drains had just switched to grates so our floor system blows the leaves fine but they either get stuck at the main...

    Pool Math........The App

The app is super-duper useful. I love it. Only constructive criticism I have is UX. The UI was a little quirky on first load (would have loved a big + button for "log tests" - it's in the middle which is good, but a visual indicator like a green circle would be my preference), but once I...

Newby in need of advice balancing

Plenty of people here will have lots of advice for you on the particulars, but one think I noted: Your pool is turning green (algae forming) Your SWG is at 6% Your FC is 0 You have no chlorine and you are only running your SWG at 6%? If your CYA is 0, your chlorine is going to burn off...

Replacing Intermatic Timer -- Heat Delay, yes or no?

We had weird electrical problems a few weeks back (power company is paying for damages -- 100% their fault)... Since then, my Intermatic Timer doesn't "spin" it's just always on. I'm looking to replace it, and totally confused. The two visible numbers on the unit are: LR3730 and E10694 --...

Crystal Pure Salt System: Heavy Duty - Thoughts?

Interesting. I keep toying with automation and not pulling the trigger. I'd need to replumb at the pump pad, not majorly, but when I look to do it, it's like $4k for the automation system and the better part of a day messing with PVC. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on a more basic...

Crystal Pure Salt System: Heavy Duty - Thoughts?

It's like an extra $100 or $200 for the 60, so 50% more life for not much more was my thought... I figured that the Heavy Duty 60 removed "parts" from the equation entirely. The control system will die before the salt cell.

Crystal Pure Salt System: Heavy Duty - Thoughts?

Planning to do a Salt System. Local Pool store has sales planned for April on Hayward, was also looking at the much more cost effective Crystal Pure Sale System from Inyo Pools (they were great when I bought a replacement motor). I have an 11,000 gallon pool. If I get a Hayward, they make a...

    Tradeoffs with Cell Size?

Okay, this is the part that confuses me. Operating Hours vs. Amount of Chlorine. Unless I want to put the Chlorinator on a different time (and my times tend to get confused over time), so I'd rather not, the 10,000 hours will be used up in 3 - 3.5 years. Running the 15,000 Gallon Cell (T-cell...
