Hello, and thanks in advance. We are trying to setup different speeds on a schedule for our pool. We have IntelliCenter2 upgrade( Thank you all for helping with that) but stuck on setting different speeds t\o the day.
I have read all previous post here and watched all the suggested videos but I am STUCK.
We currently have the pool set up 8:30-5, but would like it to run high speed from 8-10 then drop down to a lower speed (1200-1500) for rest of the time., then return to higher speed later in day to circulate the spa and spillway
Where do I schedule this? F965C3A7-ED49-426B-8B24-9293032360A9.png

Can I just set 2 separate pools schedules.
Pool 8-10 @ 3000
Pool 10-3 @1500
Then
Spa 1-2 @ 3000…
since the spa higher speed from 1-2 will override the pool speed , the. Will return to pool speed.
Can I do this? Thank you

You first have to create a Feature Circuit. Call it something like High Speed or Speed 2400. Then set a pump speed for that feature circuit. Then you can schedule the Feature circuit to run and override the lower default pool circuit pump speed set.

Best thing to do would be to assign your 'Pool' circuit the lowest RPM that you will ever run. Then create a 'Pool 3000' feature circuit, and associate that to a pump speed of 3000RPM. Then schedule the 'Pool' circuit to run 08:00-17:00, and then have 'Pool 3000' scheduled to come on from 08:05-10:00. At 08:00 the pool will turn on at 1500RPM. 5 minutes later it will ramp up to 3000RPM and at 10am the pool will return to 1500 RPM.

Then associate your 'Spa' circuit to your pump and set the speed for 3000 rpm. Anytime you turn on the spa, the pump will ramp to 3000RPM. If you turn off the spa and the pool circuit is still scheduled (between 08:00 and 17:00) the pool will return to 1500 RPM. You can set a separate speed for the Spillway so that it ramps during that as well.

Here's my pump settings page. You can see I have a Pool circuit to run at 1200RPM. That runs 24/7. I also have a Spa, Spa Waterfall (spillway), Cleaner (in floor cleaning system), Heater (integral heater command), Skim high (increase pump speed for skimming), and Sprayer (increase pump speed for an aerator that I install during the summer for evaporative cooling). I can schedule any of these over the top of the Pool schedule.

Let me know if this doesn't make sense.

Here's my schedules. You can see I have Pool scheduled 24 hours a day. Then Cleaner scheduled from 09:00-14:00. The cleaner pump speed overrides the pool pump speed (higher speed wins). As soon as the cleaner circuit turns off at 14:00, the pool speed returns to the pool circuit speed of 1200RPM. On Fridays the Spa schedule runs and the pump kicks to 2700RPM for the spa circuit, and when the heater is calling for heat, it bumps up to 3000RPM, since I have that heater pump speed set to 3000RPM.

Here's a screenshot of the feature circuits that Allen mentioned.

All screenshots above are from the intellicenter2.com website. It is easier for programming than the app for me.

Hi, thanks for response and I get that but where exactly do I set those create those circuits… on the app or the pump. Sorry, I am a novice

Hi, I went on the Intellicenter website and logged and didn’t see any of this… I’ll try again. Thank you

Click the three dashes icon in the upper right hand corner, then select settings.

Then system configuration at the top.

Then you have all of this... You will want the circuits tab and pump tab.
