What did you do to your pool today?

Rolled up the solar cover and brushed. Then put it back on as it's supposed to be rainy and cold today. Adjusted the FC and backwashed the filter before shutting it down for the evening.

Tested levels and adjusted, added another bag of salt, and my middle child took a break from playing army guy to help me spray the grackle poop off of the solar cover before we jump in...

Yeh, 45F (7C) overnight. Windy and sunny. Couldn't feel my hands when we teed off this morning (first-world problem!). I think it got up to 68F (20C). Pool is hovering around 64 (18C). Dejectedly scooped out a few lonely leaves, haha.

Yes indeed! I've been imagining your amazing springtime. I remember driving from Panama City to Tallahassee many years ago. There was a loud noise every now and then, and I feared something wrong with the rental car. I pulled over the next time I heard it, got out, and it was some sort of super-loud frogs or toads in the marshes. Man, did I laugh! I'll never forget that!

Within 5 minutes of arriving home after a not so great week I was floating horizontal in 89 degree water (loving the new solar) and darn near asleep in my noodles. 30 minutes and a couple of celebratory drinks of Cuban Liberation (wink, wink) later the world was a better place. Just think; three whole days of this!

Edit: After revitalization I cleaned the filter(s). See you in September.
