Have had a Z3G for years. The best way to to get it to work was to just place the hose directly into the skimmer pipe.
Had trouble this summer. No matter what I tried, once connected, the pump lost prime & Zodiac stopped. Since my cleaner was old and I found the diaphram damaged and a couple hose sections seemed to float, I bought a new one. I’ve tried using all the parts and following all instructions and various combinations of instructions but the same thing happens. After a couple of minutes, The pump loses prime and
the cleaner quits.
I can get no assistance from the company where I purchased it and the number for Zodiac tells me to call back another day.
I do have a robot cleaner that is finally clearing my pool after putting in a finer filter, but feel my Zodiac got it cleaner quicker after spring opening.
Just a couple notes: 28,000 gal inground. Ni main drain, one skimmer, one inlet. Pump is sufficient and pumps perfectly, with ni ait bubbles until I connect cleaning hose.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
