Winter Cover - big mistake

Pulled off the winter cover today and had pumped off as much water off of it as I could. When I pulled it off the middle ripped and drained a winter’s worth of water/leaves/particulates into the pool.

I’ve skimmed out all the leaves and have been vacuuming but the pool is full of billions of particulates.

Anything I need to do other than run the pump constantly, backwash, vacuum, test chemicals? Will all this stuff eventually filter out?

Lower the pH to about 7.2 and go right into the SLAM Process. Follow that page carefully until you pass all 3 SLAM criteria. That's your best Rx for success.
