I have a Hayward Aquarite Pro SWG that is just about 8 years old and it no longer seems to generate chlorine. It’s had a good run, but my assumption is it’s time to replace the cell. Our pool company originally installed a Turbo Cell T-15 for up to 40,000 gallons. Our pool is 14,500 gallons. Is there any benefit to replacing with the higher capacity? Would the higher capacity have given us a longer lifespan? We are in Illinois so the pool runs from June-October.
The price difference is fairly significant for the replacement cells (~$900 for the 40k gallon, ~$650 for 25k gallon, ~$450 for 15k gallon). Thanks!
