View solar temp in Aqualink

Hi - I'm setting up solar with my Jandy Aqualink system, and I can see that "Solar Heater" is available now in my iAqualink app, so I assume the solar temp sensor has been detected, but I can't find anywhere in the Aqualink apps where it actually shows what the current solar temp is. Is there a way to see this?

DIP switch S1 position 5 can be set to ON for testing purposes. When this switch is turned on temperature related delays are turned off and the solar temperature is displayed. I haven’t tried this myself, but I suspect that the solar temp will show up in place of the pool temp on the Aqualink app or the control panel. I would guess it will still say pool temp with just the temp value being replaced. See page 45 in the RS installation manual.


In general the Solar temperature is not available for viewing in the app. The Solar just works, any time the solar temp reading is 5 degrees above the current pool temp the solar valve and associated aux relay (if used) will activate if the pool temp is below the set point.
