Hayward T-15 Salt Cell with Aquarite
1. Instant Salt is displaying very low. We reset and it goes back to what appears to be normal. Then it goes back down again after a while. Instant salt will go down to 500. We clearly have over that.
2. Showed lower salt after some rain so we did add some salt. We did ave some more rain last week and the salt was registering low again. Put a little more salt in there. Leslie's pool test said our Salt was 5800. Salt test strips I bought said 4800.
3. Cell is 7 years old. We are new to house. We cleaned it about 2 weeks ago and got all the deposits out. Checked it today and it seemed fine
** we have a new cell coming tomorrow just in case **
Questions:
1. How do I know it is the cell and not the Aquarite unit?
2. Will the new cell work with a higher salt content? We drained some last night and we got a good amt of rain after. Only a slight change in salt. I plan on wasting some tomorrow adding with the garden hose.
