There is a gap between the pool walls and the vermiculite. We finished up pouring last weekend and have been smoothing the surface for the last week. I noticed the gap this morning. Please see images. Should I be concerned? Mornings are in the mid 50s and days are in the low to mid 80s...South GA. Also, how long can the polymer pool walls be exposed for?

Good morning and welcome to TFP! Shame no one has replied to your issue yet. We have one field expert @jimmythegreek who may be able to help, but admittedly he's been busy and away from the forum for a bit. :( Our field experts are also busy this time of year closing pools for those up north, but fingers crossed he or one of our members will be able to assist.

Its hard to tell from the pictures but the vermiculite is supposed to go 2" up the wall. So essentially 2" of the bottom of the polymer wall should be covered with vermiculite.
