Use booster pump to run leaf vac?

Is there any reason I can't use my Polaris booster pump to run a leaf vac (http://www.poolproducts.com/p/universal-leaf-gulper)?

I'm in Texas, so with the storms I've got a pool full of leaves and full of water. I don't want to add even more water to the pool to run the leaf vac/gulper thing to get the leaves out.

Any reason I can't just engineer a connection from my booster pump outlet to a hose to allow me to use the pump to provide the water needed for the venturi vacuum?

Booster pumps are low flow high pressure ... it may not work will for the leaf vac which is expecting low pressure hose flow.

Although I can't say that is won't work as I have never tried it

fwiw - it worked fine for me. I had an old, broken polaris quick release valve and some spare pvc bits and pieces and it all came together fine. It was nice to be able to reach all of the pool with one 50 foot hose as well...
