66AD931E-86B6-4EF4-8D9D-BD7738EF8444.jpeg This is my pool. I’m working on cleaning it. I am having to use a wire brush and wide “putty” knife to scrape the stuff off the side. That still isn’t getting everything.I’ve been told to drain it as far as possible so that I can get everything scraped off side and out of the bottoms. Please any advice or help is greatly appreciated!!

Welcome to the forum. Don’t drain the pool fully unless advised by experts on here. You can do more damage than good and make things worse for yourself. In the meantime post up specifics of your setup for more detailed assistance. It’s best to add them into to your signature. Others will be along soon to advise.

Definitely scrape off the bottom and get as much out as you can. I would be careful with metal brushes, though. Liners can tear.

I like those tumbleweed looking floaters in the pool. Ha. :poke: You may never get all the stains off of that liner, but as long as it's not too brittle, everything on the equipment pad still works, the liner holds water, and you have a proper test kit (TF-100 or Taylor K-2006C) we can help you get the water clear. This will be a fun one to watch. Fun for us, not so much for you I suspect until it's over. :)

Welcome to TFP!

Whoooeeee….been on this site for years and that’s the first tumbleweed I've seen in a pool!
You're in great hands here. TFP has many friendly, experienced people who will be happy
to help you get your pool back in shape. Ask any questions you have, get a proper test
kit and most of all, welcome!
