I wasn't sure exactly where to post this. I'm in central-ish Alabama and I've recently started finding hundreds of not thousands of really tiny little winged bugs collecting in my skimmers. They just started showing up around mid OCT. We haven't been swimming since the water temps are in the 60s. They are so tiny it's hard to get a picture but they appear to have wings, long legs, and maybe striped body. I'm new to Alabama so I'm not sure if they're mosquitoes or some other type of fly. Temps here are fairly mild...60-70 during the day and 40-50 at night. My chemistry is

I forgot to add, they are dead... I don't see anything living in my pool...I don't see any of these bugs floating on the surface either.... at glance the pool looks immaculate

Maybe thrips?

I’ve never had em but many here have, hopefully someone else with 1st hand experience with them will chime in.
