The FC has slowly been dropping down to our target after a SLAM, it’s at FC 7.5 today.
We took our monthly water sample into Leslie’s, it’s needed for the Pebble Tec warranty. Their test showed our FC at 4, which I knew was wrong. I was concerned though that the phosphate was high, 300 instead of 100 on their printout. The store recommended Phos-free to bring it down. I came home to research about phosphates on TFP.
I came across another phosphate thread and Richard320 posted this about the Phos-Free label:
I knew the store readout was different on every one of the tests from mine, but there isn’t a phosphate test, so I was concerned. Thank you so much for posting this Richard320.

Better read the directions for Phos-free before you pour it in. Especially the part that says
Important: Algae must be treated prior to testing and lowering phosphates. Chlorine must be under 5ppm before testing phosphates.
