NOT POOL IN SIGNATURE
Hi everyone, took on new client, pool still/ been closed with winter mesh for last four years since home purchase. Home owner knows nothing about pool except there's one in the ground. Pool had a chlorinator and that's being eliminated and going salt. Hopefully the heater is in ok condition as there's no cv before the injection line saving the heater from acid backflow. Did a quick site survey to assess but have one question regarding plumbing. There's a non automated diverter valve on the pressure side of the single speed pump with the one side going to the filter and another going back into the ground with a canister/gauge inline. My guess is, it's for a pressure side port for a cleaner. Pool is covered......checked the shed and found all pool related parts from winterizing including an older aquabot robotic cleaner but no pressure side cleaner at all. Has anybody seen this? Like knowing before I get involved if possible. Thanks in advance, Allan.
