SWG Question

I don’t know if this is the right forum. I see there is a SWG forum for pools.

I am confused in that many say there’s no use for SWG in a hot tub. Some love theirs. I’m willing to spend a little money to help me maintain my Cl level. But I sure as heck don’t wanna hurt my $11k investment by ruining the steel/metal parts in my hot tub. For those of you that “are” using or “have” used a SWG in an hot tub, I’d appreciate any feedback.

You are not going to ruin any metal. Hot tub water becomes naturally salty as you add bleach (Sodium hypochlorite) and as you use it (i.e sweat).

I don't use one in mine, but it is for other reasons (mainly because it is not integrated). If my tub had an integrated option, I would use it in a heartbeat.
