SWG and Spa bubbler, Hydrogen and Air

I was looking at the aeration threads to raise pH thread and looking at some videos on raise pH using aeration. One suggested using the spa bubblers. I can turn mine on even in pool mode.

But then a horrible thought. I am mixing air into my pool lines while the SWG is making chlorine gas and Hydrogen Gas. I'm not worried about the chlorine, since it has a high solubility. But the hydrogen mixing with air seems like a really bad idea. H2 has a flammability range in Air of 4% to 75%.

Thoughts?
 
You’re fine. It’s not as much hydrogen as you think it is. The volume of air being forced into the jets is a lot more than the hydrogen gas. It also requires a detonation source such as a flame or an extremely hot spark … you got any spark plugs hanging around your spa??

I used to work in/on hazardous gas classified areas. When I designed/designated a lot of equipment for coal gasification, I had to switch up to group B hydrogen as opposed to D methane.
Mixing air and hydrogen just seems bad. I'll run the calcs. You're probably right that the hydrogen air ratio is too low to worry about.
 
If the cell produces 1.45 lbs per day of chlorine gas, then that is 657.7089 grams

Cl2 is 70.906 g/mol.

So, that’s 9.276 moles Cl2 and 9.276 moles H2

H2 is 2.016 g/mol.

So, you get 18.7 grams per day or 0.78 grams per hour or 0.013 grams per minute of hydrogen gas.

Hydrogen gas releases 34 kcal/gram (142 kJ/gram) (135 btu/gram) upon combustion in air.

So, in 1 minute, you get 0.013 grams of hydrogen gas, which contains 1.75 BTU.

That’s enough energy to heat about 800 milliliters of water by one degree Fahrenheit.

Even if you had a source of ignition, there won't be enough to create a problem.
