Hi TFP forum -

After many years of smooth maintenance (thanks to this site), I am getting an accelerated amount of white spots in my pool. Some are linear, some are amoeba shape.

I have tried scrubbing with a wired brush, brought my PH done to 7.2 and scrubbed again but nothing seems to be working. Any obvious steps I am missing, latest test and pics below. Thank you!

Hello! I'd have to ask someone with a keen eye for plaster like @onBalance for some help. What does catch my attention however are those test results. Those aren't from the TF-100 you have listed in your signature. Do you have any of those TF-100 results by chance? The pool looks like it was re-plastered in 2014, so about how long ago would you say those spots started to occur?

Reading the post below will explain what is going on with your plaster surface.
