I have noticed over the last year my Taylor speed stirrer has become sluggish. I have replaced the batteries several times but it does not seem to help. The stirrer is at least 5 years old. Are there any remedies besides getting a new one?

hrm, with fresh batteries, it sounds like a new one may be in order. I suppose you could try getting a new pill, but at that point, were it me, I'd call it good and replace it.
