Hi all. I am replacing my burned out motor + impeller with the same model from Hayward. However the new one has the outlet in the vertical position whereas the old one has it in the horizontal so that it is directly connected to the filter housing. Is it possible or even recommended to reorient the new one somehow so that I can do a straight replacement and fit it on the base without having to do some plumbing magic to connect it?
