Hi All,
I've started installing some solar water heating panels for my new pool (currently under construction as you can see in the pic). I purchased 6 panels to install on my barn. They are the Sunheater 2'x20' panels. Four of the panels fit nicely on the main barn roof. I've started installing the remaining two panels on the lower shed roof of the barn. I'm now wondering if this will be an issue for flow. Just looking for hopefully a bit of reassurance.
The height from the ground to where the two shed roof panels will be is about 8'. From the lower two panels I've plumbed up another 8' to the main barn roof. Does anyone think this will cause issues with flow to the upper roof panels? I'm basically installing the panels as if they were all together on the same roof, the only difference is that there is an 8' rise of pipe between the set of two panels (lower roof) and the four panels (upper roof).
Side note, the water will be driven by a Hayward Super Pump VS.
Thoughts?
Thanks!
Scott
