Question for you guys. I have what looks like calcium flakes. Here is my water test.

FC- 6
no combined chlorine
PH- 7.8
Cya-50ish
CH-330
TA-130

I’ve been fighting high TA and adding muriatic acid every day or so.

I’ve read this could be flakes from the swg? What else should I be looking for? I’ll take my SWG apart and look tomorrow. On the pool math page it says .3 CSI based on these numbers. I don’t really understand all of that stuff yet in regards to the csi.

Yup, often the SWG cell will get coated in calcium on the plates and it comes off like you're seeing.
Check the cell, but if it does need cleaning try plain hose water first. Each time the cell is cleaned with an acid soak you lose some of the magic precious metals from the plate surface, and that is what makes the chlorine happen.
