We have an above ground pool. Recently we removed the winterizing plate, and used the screws that came with it (which we should NOT have) to reattach the regular plate and secure the skimmer. Now we have some small screw holes in the skimmer. We have not started the filter up yet (still in the beginning stages of opening), and haven't seen any leaks ... but are still concerned about possible leaks. We thought about buying some putty made for pool repairs. Any suggestions?
