Saltwater 5000 Semi inground pool Pool Factory

Hello,

My husband and I are getting ready to order a saltwater 5000 semi inground pool. What do we need to order with it, how deep can I place it? I just want to know the things that are essential for a successful set up. Does any one have this pool or know anything about it? Thanks!

Hello, I just replaced an old existing pool with the Saltwater 8000 last spring. Very nice pool in my opinion. I would suggest not burying it any deeper than necessary for the slope of your yard. Mine is ground level at one side and buried about 2 feet on the high side. Don't backfill until you have water in the pool and try to never drain the water down below the earth level or the pool wall may collapse inward. The people at pool factory are very helpful with your install. I think the only thing that makes these pools "semi inground" is the slight amount of corrugations or ribbing in the steel wall that make it a little stiffer than a smooth wall.
