Installed the Apex P60 (intelichlor 60k) cell on Wednesday last week, my pump runs 24/7 and even on the lowest setting keeps the flow switch on and producing. I have it set to 60% and it’s been steady at 2.5-3.5ppm since the day it went in. This cell claims 2.4lbs a day. I did have a heavy load with kids on the 4th for a few hours and meticulously hand vacuumed the next morning but my chlorine level only dipped to 2ppm. I was expecting to see it keep this level running 30-40%.
Other issue is with the cell salt reading much higher than my tests, there’s a calibration setting to adjust it. I’m not sure I should do that just yet but will that affect production if it’s off?
Tested with DPD powder, this afternoons test,
FC 3ppm
TAC 3ppm
CYA 50
PH 7.4
TA 80~90 (color changes over halfway on 8th drop)
CH 280
SALT (Cell sais 3850, Leslies 3200, digital pen 3300) I’ll get the Taylor test this week.
Waters crystal clear.
