Hello, looking for some input. One week in and getting the hang of things. Here is where I am after a weekend of kids swimming parties.

FC: 3.2
pH: 7.5
TA: 140
CH: 80
CYA: 40

Any suggestions?

Also, is it correct that I can add salt after testing salt to change the "feel of the water"?

Thanks for the input!

Ted

Everything looks good, how does your water look? You can ignore CH in a vinyl pool.

Sure, you can add salt if you wish. Chlorine adds some salt to your pool anyway. You could add 3-4 40 lb bags and see what you think.

Suggestions? Yes, get that FC up from the minimum before algae gets 'hold! You should be targeting FC at 5-7ppm daily.

Your TA is a bit high, but if your pH is stable don't fret about the TA.

What is your daily FC loss?
