We bought a house with a pool two years ago. The pool light (Hayward Colorlogic 4.0 model Sp0525SLED50, 120V) did not work when we bought it. I have been skimming the forums and it seems that older discussions had a lot of problems with LED lights, especially Hayward.

On Inyo it looks like color LEDs are over twice as expensive as a whit incandescent and white LED is somewhere in the middle.

I was wondering what the community thought about the life spans of different types and brands of lights. Also if anyone had a good comparison on how much energy is saved if you run both types of lights most nights during the summer.

Thanks!
