Refill City Water Numbers

I was curious as I sit and wait for refill finish so I tested hose water...PH was off the charts red..and CH was 250...


I was thinking I would get a midrange PH...I tested it twice because I thought was operator error...

What is the TA? With a high pH, that too could be high.

At least you likely get a lot of rain which will help keep the CH down, although that rain will also aerate and drive the pH up.

Be careful pH is logarithmic when you add acid to lower it use PoolMath and only add enough MA to move it a couple points at a time, easier to under shoot and add more than lower it too much.

Thanks...glad you all are here...I only tested the sample for CH and PH...pool has another foot to go to refill so another 6 hours...will test the water as it nears full
