Thought someone might find this interesting. After getting 42" of rain from Harvey, it took 4 bags of salt (all I had) just to get to high enough to generate ~ 2800 ppm's. My pool takes 8 bags to start from scratch and get to 3200. So, that much rain dropped me from 2800 to 1200. I'm still one bag short and everyone is out. There were times I was pumping out during the storm, that my 60 gpm pump was having trouble keeping up. Yes, our house and property came though unscathed! Jefferson County, TX got pretty well hammered, not many homes escaped without issues...

Thanks! We're good here, Our neighborhood was barricaded until Friday, was finally was able to get out and help a friend strip out his house (8" inside). After a two-day recovery (sucks to be old), made it to the church to help the choir recover their music, they had 16" throughout. Seems like every new "Irma" update shows it moving in for the kill...
