Ok, I have a pool (not the one in my signature block) where the motor was changed on a pump and now it is super noisy. The pump pushes water to two water features. When I have the valve set to send water to BOTH features simultaneously, it makes a very loud sound. If I move the valve to only send water to ONE of the features, it sounds perfectly fine. This works fine no matter which water feature I send it to, as long as it is only one. If I allow even a little water to go the second feature, it starts making a noise. The noise increases the more I open the valve until i get past the midpoint and start shutting off flow to the other water feature - at which time the noise begins to subside. Any ideas? I am going to try to post a picture of the pump set up. If it does not post, it is a whisper flow pump with a Force 1 motor. Outflow is a 14 inch straight to a 90 degree turn into an immediate two setting valve. The valve is attached to the 90 degree elbows. After the elbows off the valve, there is a 15 inch straight pipe to another 90 degree elbow that goes down to the underground. Hope this works and any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks PoolSchool for the opportunity.
