I currently have a pool pump with 1.5" input/output ports and a DE filter with 1.5" ports. I'm considering upgrading the pump to a VS and the one I'm looking at has 2" input/output ports. Is this a no-go given the port size of my filter? Or is it ok to reduce the output of the pump to the filter port size? Thanks.
