Hi everyone!
Pool got chipped out today and I noticed this crack where the pool tile was, hopefully you can zoom in on the picture to see. Is this an issue? It is above the waterline, but I’m wondering if it will be an issue for the waterline tile. What’s the best fix for this or should I just ignore it? It never leaked and the tiles that were on top of it was fine! Thank you!

Also, the crack probably came because there was a huge palm tree nearby that lifted the cement. It created a small gap between the coping and the pool but the tile guy said he will fix it by placing silicone in the gap. Needless to say, 1,000$ later and that palm tree is gone thankfully!

I wouldn't use silicone. I'd chip it out some and use a mortar based filler.

I see you're getting the refrigerator fixed, too........................................... ;)

Oh really? I will bring that up to my tile guy. Is there a rationale for using that instead in case he doesn’t agree?

Hahaha yes I know! I saw that as well 🤣🤣
