I am looking into getting a pool alarm and can't really figure out how it would work for most people. There are the kind that sit on the surface and detect "waves" and ripples if someone jumps in, but when my VS pump kicks in from low to high, the water is rocking pretty good and I would imagine that would set off a false alarm?
Then there are the ones that detect underwater current/movement. Again, when the pump kicks into high gear the water is moving a lot!
How do pool alarms account for this? And does anyone have a recommendation for a 10k gallon above ground pool? I have a locked gate around the deck but I still want to be extra careful!
