My pool has a Polaris port that is now used as a return. I recently noticed that the flow/pressure coming out of the converted return is significantly higher than the other returns. Also, when I open the valve for the slide I can barely get any flow from the sprayers unless I fully open the slide valve which then results in the red flow light on my swg. Does the converted return have anything to do with the slide pressure issue?

Probably. Adding another return means the same water gets shared with more returns and the pressure drops in each one accordingly. You can put a valve on that return to force more water out of the others or shut the returns when using the slide.

I’ve spent all morning looking for a return fitting that would restrict flow and I’m not finding what I’m looking for. Any suggestions?
