I inherited a Polaris 360 when I bought the house last year. I am finally ready to attempt to use it. I have a few questions. My pool has two jets do I need to restrict one and use the other for the Polaris? Does it matter which jet I use I have one in the deep end one in the shallow end? To attach it I have to remove one of the eyeballs and place the adapter in its place then attach the hose to the adapter? I noticed there is an eyeball that will attach to the adapter not sure why the adapter was removed. Also how well does it clean. I have been manually using skimmer vac for the last year.

The Polaris 360 is used with a Booster Pump, not the jet return from your main pump.
The booster pump is going to come off the main pipe usually just before the returns into the ground.
The booster pump looks like this:
Polaris PB4-60 Booster Pump

See the round pump on the output? It is a non-self priming pump that then will feed into a dedicated return to the pool.

Your controls turning the booster pump on and off to a schedule is how you run the polaris.

First things first is to see if you have that plumbed in your pool already. If not, your likely better off selling it then buying an electric powered robot. (which many say works better).

Actually, the 360 is the only Polaris which claims not to need a booster pump.

It does need the Polaris Universal Wall Mount, like every Polaris pressure cleaner. Hard to say what parts you need to add or remove without seeing photos of your return jets.

Thanks. I do have the universal wall mount it’s just not put in the jet it’s sitting on the shelf next to the Polaris. It may be a moot point. It looks like my wife found a used dolphin Atlantis for a good price from someone nearby.
