How do I know what kind of pool I’ve inherited? I want to sell it, but need to see what it’s base price was! Also, how do I list in in my local Facebook sale group? *buyer must transport, etc

Since you have it covered with wood, there is no way to see the design of it. Pump and filter could of been bought separately so that wouldn't help with the brand of the pool. Don't include that it comes with a liner when you list it because unless you have a new one in the box, the new buyer will not be able use the current liner. Base price doesn't really mean anything when you go to sell it used.

As an example I bought my 18' round above ground pool off of Facebook Marketplace for $300. It came with a pump, sand filter, vacuum, stairs and other odds and ends. I did not negotiate the price down, because $300 was a very fair price. I did have to transport it myself, but the seller had taken it all down and had all the parts extremely organized and ready to go, wall was rolled up with a ratchet strap. If you are expecting the buyer to take down the pool when they buy it, that will be at least an hour probably of them on your property doing that work.

I figured out the brand and found an owners manual for my pool by going over all the pieces. I found a part number stamped in plastic on one of the top caps or feet and googled that number with pool or something and figured it out.

You can also scroll through this list and see if you see your pool. https://www.inyopools.com/blog/iden...k closely at the top,we'll identify your pool.

As for pricing, search craigslist and facebook to see what the same size as your pool is going for in your area. List the size of your sand filter and the HP of your pump, if it is a single speed, 2 speed etc.

For starters you can tear down the wood and see if you have any signs if rust, and what shape the bottom rails are in. If there is anything that isn't pristine, most people wouldn't go through the trouble of moving it (and spend on a new liner) unless you gave it to them.

I think u may get more for the wood than the pool.
The one exposed part of the wall I can see looks creased. They covered it with wood for some kinda reason. You don’t buy a $3-$5k pool & put screws through its uprights unless you’re covering something up.

Also the rails & uprights look resin not aluminum so it’s not all that old - possibly 10yrs old or less.
