Hey Folks. I'm hoping my first ever SLAM will be completed tonight. My pool looks AMAZING! Just trying to pass the OCLT. So on to my next issue with your help. I have a slight staining over all the pool. I have had elevated CYA and CH levels due to me being sucked into Pool Store World...Yay me..I am free! Anyway...when I drained 6300 gallons last week I hit the above water line with a diluted MA solution and it scrubbed right off. I am wanting to figure out what it is and what I need to do to remove the rest.
In reading on here I believe the go to ID kit is Jack's Magic..I received my kit today. The balance parameters for proper ID is FC of 1-3 ppm. My FC minimum is 5 ppm. What options due I have before me. I DO NOT want to risk heading back into Algae world..by lowering my FC to a 1-3. I also have a bit of reservation of using Jack's solutions due to some topics I read on here dealing with crazy high CC readings after using their products...so...as is now my routine, I refer to you the helpful experts!
You can see the color popped on my step I cleaned with MA solution.
